Reflecting this week: 'Is there something I want today, but need to be patient, let go and trust the process... it will come' ...... and resolving not to force progress, instead nurture myself, and trust the journey. Patience (noun): the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious.

Our yoga practice helps us cultivate patience. Through asana (yoga poses) we learn to be patient with our bodies as they develop strength and flexibility to extend poses; and patience with our mind - when we slow down, the mind takes the opportunity to fill itself with thoughts, to fill the void. We practice patience as we draw the mind back from wandering, slowly training the mind to be comfortable with stillness.
